On Sept. 10, the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Wildcats defeated the Michigan Wolverines in men’s soccer.

UNH won 1-0, and the game-winning goal was scored by junior Bilal Kamal at the 38:28 mark in the game, according to the official website of the UNH Wildcats. The goal was Kamal's first score of the season and third career game winner. He currently has seven goals and nine assists for 23 career points.

"Watch Bilal Kamal’s game-winning goal versus Michigan on Friday night!" UNH Men's Soccer wrote in a Sept. 12 Tweet.

The Michigan Wolverines rallied, firing eight of their total 10 shots in the second half of the game, and they tried desperately to tie the game in the final minutes of play with three shot attempts on frame but were unsuccessful. Junior goalkeeper Jassem Koleilat made all three saves for his fourth shutout of the season.

The UNH wildcats improved to 5-0-0 on the 2021 season, while the Michigan Wolverines fell to 2-2-1.

New Hampshire is currently ranked No. 12 and has outscored its opponents this season by a 7-1 margin with four shutouts so far.

The Wildcats returned to action on Sept. 14 when they beat Marist College 2-1, improving to 6-0-0.
