ROCHESTER—Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is pleased to announce that it will be expanding its healthcare offerings into the Rochester area this fall.
Primary Care of Rochester, a Mass General Brigham Healthcare Center, is scheduled to open late September 2022 at The Ridge Marketplace (92 Farmington Road, Route 11, Suite 9).
The family practice will care for patients of all ages.
As part of its non-profit mission, Wentworth-Douglass is constantly assessing the healthcare needs of the Seacoast community, and that’s what led the hospital to expand to Rochester.
“We have always been receptive to the needs of the communities we serve. We noticed a need for primary care in the greater Rochester area and wanted to do our part to help support our neighbors,” said Assistant Vice President of Wentworth Health Partners Melisa Bartlett. “We are committed to offering healthcare services and improving access to care for all Seacoast families.”
Officials at The Ridge are pleased to add a healthcare center to its plaza of stores and restaurants.
“On behalf of Waterstone Properties Group, we are so pleased to welcome Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Mass General Brigham to The Ridge, providing exemplary primary care medical services for the Rochester community and the region,” said Josh Levy, principal of Waterstone Properties Group.
Primary Care of Rochester’s hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wentworth-Douglass will release additional information about the practice, including a list of providers, ahead of its grand opening.
