PORTSMOUTH—In January of 2023 the U.S. economy added 517,000 jobs, quickly reducing the talk of a nationwide recession. Are we out of the woods or is a recession still looming around the corner? How optimistic are our local company leaders?
At the 2023 Economic Outlook presentation, presented by First Citizens Bank, we will hear from experts on the health of our national, state, and local economies. Please note: We've had a location change--we'll gather in the Portsmouth Public Library's Levenson Room (Seacoast Repertory Theatre's stage is encased in wire for Man of La Mancha--go see it!). The event is free and open to all, but please register.
Joining us will be:
- Ben Wendt, Vice President, First Citizens Bank
- Jeff Feingold, Editor, NH Business Review
- Philip Cohen, Chair of Portsmouth Economic Development Commission
- Sean Clancy, Assistant City Manager for Economic Development
We look forward to seeing you and to a robust question and answer session!
