'On A Grand Scale' is twisting size requirements

PORTSMOUTH – In a twist on the size requirements for New Hampshire Art Association members displaying their work in monthly exhibits, artists who work on a large scale will have the opportunity to showcase their work during August at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery.

“We usually have a maximum size restriction of 48 inches,” said Amanda Kidd-Kestler, NHAA director of operations and development. “This show is the opposite with 48 inches being the minimum, giving our artists who create larger artworks an opportunity to display them in a bold exhibit.”

In addition to “On A Grand Scale,” the 43rd annual Jack Parfitt juried show will also be on exhibit at the Levy Gallery during August. The Sheafe Warehouse members show in Prescott Park continues through August as well. Visit www.nhartassociation.org for details on each show.
