The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth issued the following announcement.

PORTSMOUTH—Kateryna Ridley, a Dover resident who fears for Ukraine and whose 80-year-old grandmother is still in the region, is spearheading a Seacoast drive for Ukraine, centered in Newington and North Hampton. The drive involves coordination by Coastal MI-BOX, Seacoast Cars & Coffee, the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth and the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce.

A drive held in Dover in March was extremely successful and brought out a lot of volunteers and donations. Ridley is gearing up for more.

The upcoming Ukraine Donation Drive will be held Thursday, April 21; Friday, April 22 and will culminate Saturday, April 23 at Seacoast Cars & Coffee at the Mall at Fox Run in Newington from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Items can be dropped April 21 and April 22 at Coastal MI-BOX, 136 Lafayette Road, North Hampton from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at Seacoast Cars & Coffee from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Donations should be packed by category in sturdy boxes (Lowes, HomeDepot, UHaul boxes preferred); don’t tape the box (to allow for viewing), label each box on two sides with marker indicating the category of aid; please add padding inside the box if necessary to make sure it’s not damaged during shipping.

The items will then be shipped overseas by NuDay. Donations are tax deductible. EIN: 46-2041995 / 501c3
