Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce: SEACOAST DERMATOLOGY OFFERING FREE SKIN CANCER SCREENINGS IN APRIL

3

Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 10.

SEACOAST, NH — The month of May is recognized as National Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month. In anticipation, Seacoast Dermatology PLLC is offering skin cancer screenings to area residents in April this year. The screenings are offered at no charge and everyone is encouraged to schedule their appointment early, as space is limited.

“Having an annual skin cancer check is the best preventative action people can take. A simple visual screening only takes a few minutes and can literally save lives. We know one in five Americans will develop some form of skin cancer during their lifetimes. Early detection, combined with effective treatment if needed, is the key to a positive outcome” advises Dr Andrew Werchniak, former Medical Director of the Brigham & Women’s and Dana Farber Cancer Institute Skin Cancer Screening Program.

Seacoast Dermatology, PLLC is offering three free skin cancer screening opportunities in April. Area residents can schedule a screening by calling 603-431-5205 or by visiting SeacoastDermNH.com for additional information.
