63p

Town of Londonderry issued the following announcement on November 24.

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN....TWICE!!!

“Christmas on the Common And Santa Visits Londonderry 2021“

The Londonderry Rotary Club, in partnership with the Town of Londonderry, is pleased to announce that its annual “Christmas on the Common” celebration will return to the Town Common this year. The event, which will include complimentary hot cider, hot chocolate, chili, and cookies, will take place on Sunday, December 5th, on the Londonderry Town Common. The event is scheduled from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Christmas carols will begin at 3:00 PM, sung by some of our local Girl Scout Troops. The annual "Christmas Tree Lighting" will occur at dusk. We expect that Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elf will arrive at the Common to greet the children at approximately 4:00 PM. The Rotary encourages families to attend this event, and enjoy the Christmas cheer!

Prior to this event, 20 Christmas trees will be set up on the Town Common. The Rotary is asking for any interested group in town who is interested in decorating a tree, please contact Faye Sell at Martineilli Travel at (603) 434-4989.

In addition, the Londonderry Rotary will also sponsor Santa’s trip through Londonderry on a fire truck on Saturday, December 4th, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Once we receive the Route from the North Pole later this week, we will post it. Santa and his truck are scheduled to conclude their ride in the Staple’s parking lot on Route 102.  Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their Elf will be doing a brief meet & greet for those that want to stop by. Please look to the Londonderry Town Website and the Rotary Facebook page for specific details and the map of Santa’s route.

COME ONE, COME ALL! HO! HO! HO!
