Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Salem NH Farmers Market is planning to be open every Sunday.. We have changed our time, and will be open, from 10-2. We have shifted our location to 12 Via Toscana, Tuscan Village South, Salem.
Farmers Markets are considered "essential businesses." We provide food to the greater Salem community, as well as help our vendors, who are now buying seeds and having additional expenses this time of year. We have also expanded our SNAP program: Any person on SNAP simply needs to show their SNAP card, and we will give them $50 in vouchers to be used that week.
- Social distancing is strictly enforced.
- Food is prepackaged; no food is touched by customers.
- Each vendor has hand sanitizer, and customers are encouraged to use it.
- No shopping bags are allowed to be brought in. We will provide bags.
