Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

LOVE BEER?  So do WE!

Over the last 9 years, the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Exeter Parks and Rec. Department to present the largest beer and chili festival in New Hampshire, “Powder Keg.”

This year, due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic and in an effort to keep people as safe as possible, there will not be a chili component to the event this year. Instead, we will have a variety of food trucks at the festival providing great food and snacks for purchase.

The festival will be broken up into 2 sessions:

First Session- 11:00am-1:00pm

Second Session- 2:00pm-4:00pm

“Powder Keg” takes place in Swasey Park located in downtown Exeter on the first Saturday in October. Breweries and beer enthusiasts from the region gather for a day of sampling beers of all styles and tastes.
