DOVER—Katherine Staniforth, FNP-BC, MS, a highly skilled family nurse practitioner with significant experience and special interest in the field of women’s health recently joined Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Wentworth Health Partners Dover Women’s Health.

Staniforth joined Wentworth-Douglass from Littleton Primary Healthcare in Colorado, where she worked as a nurse practitioner in Internal Medicine and Primary Care.

She completed her clinical/teaching experience in New York, NY at Choices Women’s Health Practice, Harlem Hospital Center Women’s Health Clinic, Farrell Family Clinic Family Primary Care Practice, Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew Home and Neurointerventional Radiology at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

Her professional experience consists of being a Nurse Practitioner and Neurointerventional Radiology at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, N.Y., a Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery, High-Risk Antepartum & Postpartum at Sloan Hospital for Women at New York-Presbyterian in New York, N.Y., a travel nurse at Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colo. and a Nurse Practitioner, Internal Medicine/Primary Care at Colorado Primary Health Care in Littleton, Colo.

Staniforth went to the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt. where she received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a concentration in environmental health. She was awarded her Master of Science, Family Advanced Practice Nursing with a subspecialty in women’s health from Columbia University School of Nursing.
