Census Bureau: More men than women in Newmarket in 2019

Of the 5,660 people living in Newmarket in 2019, 48.3 percent (2,736) were women and 51.7 percent (2,924) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rockingham Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 2,196-to-2,027. In the 65 and over age range, there were 296 females and 268 males.
