In his post he stated, “Whatever motivated the lunatic who decided to attack patrons at the Sky Meadow Country Club, know this: Rob DeCesare, a Salem native, is a hero for standing up and protecting his wife and daughter. The patron who used a chair to knock the shooter to the ground, ending the”. He also shared another link in a subsequent tweet: “https://t.co/XM67fda8n4”.
Threats against public officials have prompted calls for bipartisan condemnation across various states in recent years. Violent incidents at public venues such as country clubs have led to discussions about community safety and responses by bystanders.
