EXETER—The Physicians of Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics are pleased to welcome Jeffrey Smith, MD, to its practice.

Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Miami Leonard M Miller School of Medicine, Miami, Fla. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pa.

His professional affiliations include the Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the Spine Intervention Society.

Dr. Smith specializes in the evaluation and management of back pain, non-operative spine care, and musculoskeletal medicine. His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and pain syndromes, fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures of the extremities and the spine, and electrodiagnostic medicine.

His primary interest includes focusing on restoring function and quality of life to patients. When not in his office, Dr. Smith enjoys playing tennis, hiking, cycling, skiing and kayaking.

He’ll be accepting new patients at the Exeter location of Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics beginning in August 2022.
